Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Classic Electric Guitar in Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2003, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Carved Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include upgraded Grover tuners, a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, Aged 'Snot Green' Trapezoid inlays, and an upgraded set of Brandonwound Humbuckers. These pickups are wired to two volume controls (push/pull coil splits), two tone controls (push/pull phase options), and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Slim Tapered 60’s profile providing a much slimmer shape when compared with more traditional Gibson necks. This allows for more technical playing to be executed more ergonomically whilst still retaining the solid feel of a Gibson neck. The traditional 12" fingerboard radius strikes the perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and smooth lead lines, making for a truly authentic yet refined Les Paul playing experience, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 frets provides a rock-solid playing surface whilst also assisting with string bending and vibrato techniques. 

The pair of upgraded Brandonwound humbuckers installed in this guitar deliver thick, full-bodied tones that are unmistakably Les Paul. The bridge position is round and smooth, with plenty of low end and a broad midrange that is perfect for your solo tones and lead lines. The bridge position offers brighter sounds, cutting through the mix easily and saturating into a rich distortion as you drive the amp. The Les Paul has long been famed for its incredible sustain, and this particular guitar easily lives up to those expectations with seemingly endless amounts of buttery long notes ringing out. The controls are nice and responsive, allowing you to dial in a wide range of tones without going anywhere near a pedalboard thanks to the push/pull capabilities of splitting the coils and changing the phase. It's easy to see why this is such a well regarded model within the Les Paul line up, delivering a refined yet authentically vintage playing experience, tone and vibe.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Moderate delamination is apparent to the front face, most notably to the bass side and around the Gibson logo. Mild checking is apparent to the sides and edges of the front face. The treble side top edge corner demonstrates light scuff marks that could not be removed during our cleaning process. The tuners have been replaced, with the original holes still partially visible.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.

Body: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching and checking of the finish, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. The sides demonstrate light finish cracking where the binding meets the body, and light indentations throughout. The rear face demonstrates light scratching and indentation, only visible under direct light at certain angles. None of these markings have pierced the finish to reveal the wood beneath.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5/16" socket) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and good condition. Light scratching and mild tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, tailpiece, tuners and pickguard bracket. The pickguard demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm

Gibson Hard Case

Fully functional and very good condition. All aspects of the case demonstrate mild signs of previous use, with light scuffing of the outer. All clasps, compartments and handles are functional.
