Ibanez AW4000 BS Artwood Brown Sunburst Gloss Acoustic Guitar

This dreadnought acoustic delivers a balanced combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern tonal refinement. The solid Sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides produces a warm, resonant voice with clear articulation across the frequency range. The satin-finished mahogany neck and carefully dimensioned profile make this guitar responsive and comfortable during extended playing sessions.

Construction & Materials

The solid Sitka spruce top is the primary driver of tonal character, while the mahogany back and sides contribute warmth and sustain. A bone nut and compensated bone saddle ensure proper intonation and efficient string vibration transfer. The tortoiseshell body binding and black & white ABS rosette provide traditional aesthetic detail without compromising structural integrity.

Playability & Feel

The rosewood fretboard with 20 frets spans a 651mm (25.6") scale length, offering familiar string tension and spacing for standard tuning. Neck dimensions—43mm width at the nut, 55mm at the 14th fret, 21mm thickness at the 1st fret, and 22mm at the 7th fret with a 400mm radius—are engineered for smooth fretting and comfortable chord work. The satin finish on the neck reduces friction and allows for extended playing without fatigue.
