The JBL CBT 1000 is a professional-grade line array column speaker engineered for consistent, controlled coverage across complex venue spaces. Its tall, narrow footprint delivers high output without consuming excessive floor or mounting real estate, while sixteen independent coverage patterns allow precise acoustic tailoring without external processing.

Design & Build Quality

Constructed from a fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet with a powder-coated 1050 aluminum grille, the CBT 1000 resists corrosion and impact in touring and permanent installations. The included two-part swivel/tilt wall bracket offers ±45 degree left-right swivel and ±15 degree tilt adjustment, enabling fine-tuned vertical and horizontal positioning without additional hardware.

Audio Performance & Coverage Flexibility

The speaker combines 24 soft-dome tweeters (25 mm) with six 165 mm high-excursion woofers to deliver a 45 Hz–20 kHz frequency response with sensitivity ranging from 95 dB to 102 dB depending on coverage pattern and voicing selection. The sixteen different coverage combinations—comprising four "Pattern Up" and four "Pattern Down" angles—provide surgical control over acoustic coverage patterns for speech, music, or mixed content.
