In 2025, the village of La Patrie celebrates its 150th anniversary. To mark this historic milestone, we have created an exceptional instrument: the Norman B150, a limited-edition guitar designed and crafted in the very place where it all began.
It was in 1972 that Robert Godin built his very first guitars in La Patrie, Quebec. This small village quickly became the birthplace of a unique craftsmanship recognized far beyond our borders. Today, more than fifty years later, we pay tribute to that tradition and the passion that continues to drive us.
The B150 embodies everything Norman stands for: a deep connection to our roots, an unwavering pursuit of quality, and a commitment to showcasing Quebec expertise to the world. Crafted from carefully selected woods—drawn from a special stock held in our workshops for over 30 years—this guitar stands out for its authentic character, rich tone, and understated, elegant aesthetic.
Each instrument is hand-signed by Robert and Simon Godin, reflecting their personal commitment to this unique project. A cedar certificate of authenticity, shaped like a guitar pick, accompanies every guitar, underscoring its exclusivity. SPECIFICATIONS
