Used Paiste PST 5 14" Rock Hats Hi-Hat Cymbals — Pair

•  Top weight: 1047g • Bottom weight: 1304g

These are Paiste's CuSn8 bronze (the "2002 Bronze" / B8 family) hats in the heavier Rock weight — more cut, projection and volume than the Medium version, with a strong, defined chick and an energetic open sound. Built for rock, punk, metal and loud live playing where hats need to stay present over guitars.

SOUND

Heavier rock-weight hats with more cut, projection and volume than the Medium Hats. Very energetic, cutting and defined, with a fairly wide range and clean mix. Pronounced, crisp stick sound, very defined chick, medium-long sustain. Still CuSn8 bronze, so you get brightness and cut without harshness — suited to rock, punk, metal and loud live settings.
