Yamaha SS7S Single Braced Legs Low Position Snare Drum Stand

The Yamaha SS7S is the low position model in the new snare stand series, giving drummers a 36 to 53 cm available height range for setups that need the basket closer to the floor. It uses single braced legs and weighs 2.7 kg, combining the lower stance with the same 28.6 mm lower tubing and 22.2 mm upper tubing.

Low Position with Step Free Control

A Step Free Tilter provides smooth, stepless basket angle adjustment without fixed gear stops. The ergonomic snare basket adjustment knob fits naturally in the hand, and a built in metal washer helps it tighten smoothly and securely. Refined wing hardware is shaped to reduce strain during repeated setup changes.

Resonance Focused Basket Contact

Tone Enhancing Basket Rubber flexes under pressure to help reduce unwanted vibration transfer from the drum to the stand. This lets the shell resonate more freely and supports sustain in the lower register. The contact points provide secure support while allowing the drum to retain more of its natural tonal character.

Oversized rubber feet add floor grip, while the single braced legs fold compactly for transport. The SS7S gives players a purpose built low position option with precise angle control, resonance aware basket support, and the same core hardware approach found throughout the new Yamaha snare stand line.
