Original 1970s MXR Phase 45 (MX-105) with the early script logo, made in the USA.
Dating: the CTS pot is date-coded 1377547, meaning week 47 of 1975, so the pedal was built in late 1975 or later. Script-logo models predate MXR's 1977 change to the block logo.
Condition: fully working, recently service and tested. The phase sweep is smooth across the whole Speed range, with [no crackle from the pot / no switch or jack issues]. Cosmetically it shows its age, with a number of dings and scratches to the enclosure, all shown clearly in the photos. Please look through them carefully before buying. Hitting the on/off switch is noticeable, but acceptable.
Originality: All original. No modifications. Runs on a 9V battery (supplied), as originally designed, with no power jack or LED.
About the Phase 45: the Phase 45 is the two-stage sibling of the Phase 90. It gives a subtler, warmer sweep that sits nicely in a mix. It's also the same model Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols used on "Anarchy in the UK".
