Getaria GWS-8

Getaria GWS-8 2.4 GHz wireless instrument system: one transmitter and one receiver, both with a 280° rotatable 1/4” plug.

Plug the transmitter into the instrument and the receiver into the amp, pedalboard, or interface. Pair by holding the signal button on both units at the same time. Once paired, they remember each other, so you do not have to re-pair after powering off. Built for passive electric guitar, bass, and other instruments with a 1/4” output (electric-acoustic with a pickup included). The swivel plugs fit side-mount and endpin jacks.

Manufacturer specs:

•  2.4 GHz ISM band, uncompressed digital transmission

•  24-bit / 48 kHz sampling

•  Latency listed under 12 ms

•  Frequency response 20 Hz–20 kHz

•  Dynamic range greater than 105 dB

•  Open-air range about 100 feet / 30 meters (walls, bodies, and Wi-Fi cut that)

•  Up to 6 pairs in the same room without cross-talk; one transmitter can feed multiple receivers

•  Built-in rechargeable lithium batteries (about 750 mAh each)

•  Runtime listed around 5 hours; charge time about 1.5 hours on the included USB cable

•  ABS housing, roughly 1.2 oz per unit

Best fit is practice, rehearsal, and small rooms where you want the cable out of the way. Getaria notes that latency should be checked before relying on it for professional stage work. Range and noise also depend on Wi-Fi and other 2.4 GHz gear nearby.

Includes transmitter, receiver.
