Up for sale is a 1978 Fender Musicmaster in solid playing condition. This guitar has plenty of honest dings, dents, and cosmetic wear, but it sounds phenomenal, holds tune, and is a rock-solid player.

I recently had the guitar inspected, photographed, and assessed by CME. I was told that the parts are original and matching. Other than the cosmetic issues noted in the photos and description, everything is in good working order and ready to play.

The final two photos were taken under ultraviolet (UV) light to help reveal any repairs or previous damage. One thing to be aware of: at some point in its life, the guitar was covered in tape in an Eddie Van Halen-style fashion. This is difficult to see clearly in the photos, but the difference is immediately noticeable in person. Please keep this in mind when considering the guitar.

This is a vintage instrument with plenty of character and wear, so please look closely at the photos and ask any questions before purchasing. I’m happy to provide additional photos or information upon request.
