This is a pre-Korg Czech-made Spector Euro 5LX neck-thru bass. Believe the build year is about 2012 on this one.
Weight is 9.5 lbs. on the trusty bathroom scale.
This one is in great shape for its age. I really can't find any significant blemishes on this bass but I'll call it 9/10 to be safe. Really nice flaming on this one. The Euro 5LX of this time is a flame maple top with a walnut slice and an alder back. 35" scale.
I've done some upgrades that I think make it a killer Euro for the price. I've owned many over the years and this is probably the best tone profile I can get out of a Euro.
It has the LHZ-04 HAZ-clone preamp paired with EMG 40P5 and 40J pickups. The result? Sounds almost identical to a US P/J Spector with Haz preamp. I've sold other Euros with this config and got raves from the buyers.
The bridge was swapped out for a newer Spector Euro 5LX bridge w/intonation screws - got this direct from Spector.
Also updated strap buttons to Dunlop Dual Design.
Comes with a Spector-branded ATA hardshell case with the form-fit design. Very secure for the bass.
