Seymour Duncan APH-2s Slash Alnico II Pro Humbucker Black Nickel Cover, SET Pickup

Seymour Duncan APH-2s Slash Alnico II Pro Humbucker Black Nickel Cover, SET Pickup

The APH-2s Slash Alnico II Pro is a high-output passive humbucker set voiced for thick, articulate aggression with remarkable sustain and midrange presence. Designed in collaboration with Slash himself, these pickups deliver the signature tone heard on some of rock's most iconic recordings, combining raw power with defined note separation that cuts through a mix.

Tone & Output Characteristics

Built with Alnico II magnets and winding specifications that yield 8.9k ohms (bridge) and 8.3k ohms (neck), the APH-2s generates substantial output without sacrificing clarity or dynamics. The bridge pickup's aggressive bite pairs perfectly with the neck's warmer response, giving you a versatile platform for everything from blues-rock to hard rock and metal.

Construction & Installation

These pickups feature single-conductor wiring with braided shield for noise rejection and long-legged base plates that provide secure mounting and tonal coupling to your instrument. The wooden spacer and soldered connections ensure reliable performance and consistent tone transmission, while standard spacing accommodates most aftermarket and stock cavities on 6-string instruments.
