2012 Gibson Sheryl Crow Southern Jumbo Special Edition – Model A

This is the version with the factory Trance Audio Amulet true-stereo pickup system. Built in Bozeman, Montana in June 2012, from the first production run of this model. One owner since new, bought in January 2013, with the original purchase receipt. It has lived in its hardshell case its whole life. Open the case and it still smells like a new Gibson.

WHAT IT IS
Gibson built this Southern Jumbo with Sheryl Crow as a more powerful, more projecting take on the classic slope-shoulder SJ. It has a solid Adirondack top and 1930s-style scalloped "advanced" X-bracing. It has the warmth you expect from a mahogany Gibson, with more punch and headroom than a standard SJ.

THE AMULET PICKUP SYSTEM
This is the same true-stereo system Gibson used in the Jackson Browne model. Two transducers sit inside the guitar under the saddle, with a preamp built in. The guitar connects to the included Amulet "Blue Box" with a 5-pin low-impedance cable. From the box you can run standard 1/4" cables to your amp or PA in mono, or in stereo with the bass and treble sides on separate channels. It's very natural sounding and resists feedback.

Note: the endpin is a 5-pin jack, not a standard 1/4" jack, so the Blue Box is part of the system. Tested and working. [Power: 12VAC adapter included / runs on batteries – confirm]

CONDITION
Excellent used condition. No cracks. Light wear and a few light dings from normal playing. Every mark is shown up close in the photos.
