Up for sale is an absolute powerhouse of modern bass design: the Ibanez SR1425B Premium Soundgear 5-String Bass in the stunning Caribbean Green Low Gloss finish. Part of the esteemed Ibanez Premium Series, this instrument seamlessly blends boutique-level aesthetics, effortless playability, and high-end electronics. Whether you are looking for tight, foundational low-end for the studio or a versatile, lightweight workhorse for live performances, the SR1425B delivers punches way above its price point.
Key Highlights
- Exotic & Ergonomic Tonewoods: Features a highly resonant African Mahogany body paired with a jaw-dropping Flamed Maple top. The iconic thin, double-cutaway SR body style makes it incredibly comfortable to play for hours.
- Ultra-Stable Atlas Neck: The 5-piece Panga Panga/Purpleheart bolt-on neck is reinforced with KTS Titanium rods, ensuring maximum structural stability and monumental sustain.
- Premium Fretwork: The Flamed Maple fingerboard features beautiful blue oval inlays and 24 medium frets treated with the signature Premium fret edge treatment for a silky-smooth, broken-in feel right out of the box.
- Nordstrand Big Break Pickups: Packed with a pair of passive Nordstrand Big Break pickups, which pack a meaty split-coil configuration into a soapbar format. You get aggressive, full-bodied single-coil roar without any of the hum.
- Ultimate Tone-Shaping electronics: Features the Ibanez Custom 3-band EQ with an active/passive bypass switch (using the treble pot as a passive tone control) and a 3-way Mid-frequency switch (250Hz, 450Hz, 700Hz) to help you dial in or cut through any mix.
