VC703: A Legacy of Handcrafted Excellence
The Valencia VC703 is a handcrafted classical guitar built by master luthiers for players who demand nothing less than true classical excellence. Designed with a wide dynamic range, it delivers a playing experience unlike any other, responding beautifully whether played with a light touch or full expression. It comes in a 3/4 size, finished in natural satin.

Tonewood & Construction
At the heart of the VC703 is a solid Sitka spruce top paired with innovative ToneFlow Spanish fan bracing, giving the guitar an outstanding tonal range that reacts with articulation and detail even to the softest touch. Premium mahogany back and sides, built with an arched back, add richness to the low and mid frequencies, rounding out a tone that's both dynamic and full-bodied.
Neck & Playability
The VC703 features a premium mahogany neck reinforced with an Amara ebony strip and fitted with a two-way truss rod, paired with an Amara ebony fingerboard for exquisite playability. Nineteen nickel frets (12 to the body) and inlaid neck side dots make for smooth, precise navigation up and down the neck, while a Graph Tech NuBone top nut supports clean, accurate intonation.
Detailing & Craftsmanship
Beyond its performance, the VC703 exceeds expectations in looks and feel. Exotic wood veneers, an inlaid natural wood mosaic rosette, and custom decorated machine heads elevate its appearance. The Amara ebony bridge features wood mosaic decoration and a Graph Tech NuBone XB saddle, while multi-ply rosewood binding on the top, sides, and back center strip, along with an Amara ebony headstock veneer bearing an engraved Valencia logo, complete a guitar that's as beautiful to look at as it is to play.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts appreciate the VC703 for its remarkable responsiveness — the solid Sitka spruce top and ToneFlow bracing capture even the lightest touch with articulation and detail, while mahogany back and sides add warmth to the low-mids. Its Amara ebony fingerboard and reinforced mahogany neck offer exquisite playability, letting players move confidently across the fretboard. Combined with handcrafted detailing throughout, it's an instrument that rewards nuance and delivers a genuinely expressive, dynamic playing experience.
