Gibson F-2 oval-hole mandolin in sunburst, dated approximately to 1921 from serial number 64941 (my reading of the faded label).
Plays great, with no cracks or known repairs. I believe Gibson refinished it at some point, but the details are unknown. Visible finish wear around the soundhole and scroll; no pickguard fitted. Includes its original red-lined case, with wear as pictured.
Located in Denver. Local pickup or meetup available; willing to travel 1–2 hours for the right offer. Shipping is also possible, with costs and arrangements agreed before purchase.
