Gibson Custom Shop SG Custom Quilt Fire Tiger – All Original – COA & Case

For sale is my Gibson Custom Shop SG Custom Quilt in the stunning Fire Tiger finish, complete with its Gibson Custom hard case and matching Certificate of Authenticity.

I purchased this guitar new from Thomann in Germany and have been its only owner. I have played it at home, in the studio and at live shows, but it has not been used heavily or intensively. It has seen some playing time rather than simply being kept as a display piece.

The guitar remains fully original, with no modifications made during my ownership.

Its appearance was what first drew me to it, and it genuinely is a beautiful instrument in person. The richly figured quilted maple top, deep red Fire Tiger finish and gold hardware make a striking combination. The ebony fingerboard, pearl split-block inlays and distinctive Custom headstock complete the look.

This two-pickup Fire Tiger version was originally advertised by dealers as a limited worldwide run of just 25 instruments, making it a particularly interesting variation on the classic SG.

Specification

Mahogany body with a quilted maple top, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with pearl split-block inlays, two gold-covered humbuckers, individual volume and tone controls for each pickup, a three-way selector, Grover tuners and gold hardware.

Condition

The guitar presents very nicely overall, but it is a used instrument and does show some light cosmetic signs of use, including surface marks on the gold hardware. I would rather describe it honestly than suggest it is completely untouched or free from every mark.
