The AMIRON 200
The AMIRON 200 is an open true wireless earphone from beyerdynamic, designed specifically for movement and athletic use. Unlike traditional in-ear or closed-back designs, it uses an open-ear operating principle that keeps wearers connected to their surroundings while still delivering powerful, detailed sound. Built for runners and outdoor athletes, it combines beyerdynamic's audio engineering heritage with a lightweight, secure-fit design intended for city runs, trail runs, or a quick jog in the park. The earphones are available in three colourways — Black, White, and Sport — so wearers can choose an option that matches their personal style.

Secure Fit and High Comfort
Comfort and stability are central to the AMIRON 200's design. Ergonomic ear hooks combined with an ultra-lightweight, open-ear construction ensure the earphones stay securely in place without creating pressure, even during long-distance efforts. Whether navigating city streets or uneven trail terrain, the AMIRON 200 is built to stay put and feel comfortable for extended periods, making it a practical companion for serious training sessions rather than casual, short-term wear.
Open Design for Maximum Safety
A defining feature of the AMIRON 200 is its open design, which allows wearers to remain fully aware of their environment at all times — an important safety consideration for runners navigating traffic, other people, or changing terrain. Rather than sacrificing control for awareness, the earphones include intuitive touch controls that let users manage music playback and calls without breaking stride or losing focus. The result is an earphone that lets athletes stay in their rhythm with no stopping and no distractions, balancing immersive audio with situational awareness.
Powerful Sound, Battery Life, and Durability
Sound quality is engineered to fuel performance, with clear highs, balanced mids, and powerful bass drawing on beyerdynamic's established audio expertise — reportedly setting new standards within the open-ear segment. This sound can be further customised through the beyerdynamic app, which allows users to fine-tune the sound profile and functions to suit their running style for optimal audio during training.
Battery performance is built for extended sessions: the AMIRON 200 offers up to 11 hours of playback on a single charge, extending to 36 hours in total with two additional charges from the included charging case (11 hours plus 25 hours). For those in a hurry, just 5 minutes of quick charging provides roughly 90 minutes of additional listening time, and the battery also supports convenient wireless charging.
Durability is addressed through an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, making the AMIRON 200 robust enough for training in varied weather conditions and across different terrains. Combined with its secure fit, open awareness design, customisable sound, and long-lasting battery, the AMIRON 200 is positioned as a well-rounded open-ear earphone built specifically around the demands of active, outdoor training.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts appreciate the AMIRON 200 for its beyerdynamic audio engineering, delivering clear highs, balanced mids, and powerful bass that set new standards in the open-ear segment. The beyerdynamic app lets them precisely customise the sound profile, tailoring audio to personal preference rather than settling for a fixed tuning. Its open design also lets musicians stay audibly connected to their environment while listening, and intuitive touch controls make managing playback effortless without interrupting focus or flow.
