AKG Drum Set Premium Reference Drum Microphone Set

AKG Drum Set Premium: The Reference Standard for Drum Miking
The AKG Drum Set Premium is a hand-selected collection of the highest-quality microphones designed for drummers and engineers who refuse to compromise. Built for touring, live performance, and studio recording alike, this premium bundle brings together the finest AKG drum microphones into a single, cohesive solution. Whether you're tracking in a world-class studio or setting up on a festival stage, the Drum Set Premium delivers the clarity, detail, and reliability that professional applications demand.

Engineered for Every Environment
What sets the Drum Set Premium apart is its versatility across the full spectrum of professional settings. The microphones in this collection are purpose-built for drum miking, meaning each one is optimized to capture the sonic character of specific drums and cymbals with precision and accuracy. From the crack of a snare to the thud of a kick drum and the shimmer of overhead cymbals, this set ensures every element of the kit is captured faithfully — whether you're recording in a controlled studio environment or dealing with the unpredictable conditions of a live venue.
A Hand-Selected Collection of AKG's Finest
Every microphone in the Drum Set Premium has been carefully chosen rather than simply bundled for convenience. AKG's hand-selection process means that each microphone earns its place in the set based on performance, character, and suitability for its intended role on the kit. This is a reference-grade collection — the kind of setup that seasoned engineers reach for when the session or the show demands the very best. The result is a cohesive microphone system where every piece complements the others, delivering a balanced, full-spectrum representation of the drum kit.
Built to Withstand the Road
Durability is as important as sound quality when you're touring or moving between venues, and AKG has accounted for that with the Drum Set Premium's heavy-duty metal carry case. Rugged and road-ready, the case is purpose-designed to house the entire collection securely, protecting your investment through the rigors of travel, load-ins, and repeated setups. It's not an afterthought — it's a core part of what makes this set a true professional tool. The case ensures your microphones arrive at every gig in the same condition they left the last one.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts appreciate the Drum Set Premium because it eliminates guesswork. Rather than piecing together a drum mic setup one microphone at a time, this hand-selected collection gives engineers and drummers a complete, cohesive reference solution from the start. It's built for real-world demands — touring, live gigs, and serious studio sessions — and it travels safely in a heavy-duty metal case. For professionals who value consistency, quality, and convenience, the Drum Set Premium simply delivers.
