OK, members of the Gibson Nation… heres one for you!! This Special is a bit well… “special“ huh? lol

I’m stretching bit with the “Vintage” tag but 26yrs has us close enough.. It comes equipped with block inlay vs dots and it comes factory with stacked P-100’s. However cats and kittens the bridge pickup has been swapped with a Guitar Fetish P90. The tones are INCREDIBLE.. uber versatile and VERY GIBSON’Y… I can still hear the bite and growl of a bucker when dialed in proper and with the 90 and 100 of course both pallets they produce! This one can cover Leslie and Mountain to Slash and the Guns with ease and still leave room to head over to some Marley or Billie Joe or Rivers!! Come on now… REALLY??? YESSSSSSS!!!

The condition is still very good everywhere…..EXCEPT THE HEADSTOCK!!
Now don’t freak or anything… NO BREAKS, CRACK OR REPAIRS AT ALL!!
It’s just this one has fallen victim to the lacquer debacle that some of the late 90’s early 2000’s Gibsons do.. The finish is all factory and original.. it’s just varnished cracked HEAVILY in a vertical direction. personally, I dig stuff like this… I mean, there’s a whole generation of cats that have bought into relicing and paying for someone to recreate this type of wear.. so.. you see what I mean right? lol Also a smidge of buckle rash on the back.

Action is good, frets are great… ships in a SKB molded hardshell that book opens.. still works great.
