For sale today is a Martin 00-17 from 1947. This guitar is beautifully broken in - feels great and sounds even better! A few notes on the overall condition:
-This guitar has plenty of play wear, lacquer checking, dings, & scratches from the last 79 years (see photos).
-This one came to us with a couple cracks in the top, but they went back together beautifully and now the guitar is rock solid again (seee slides 4-6).
-Bridge and bridge plate have been replaced (see slides 7-8).
-Tuners are original, with replaced buttons.
-A K&K pickup has been installed and functions as it should.
-The replacement rets have some wear, but they still have plenty of life and the guitar rings out beautifully up and down the fretboard without dead spots, significan buzzing, or other major issues.
-The action is currently at 7/64" at the 12th fret on the low E and 6/64" on the high E, with some room to come down at the saddle, if desired, but not a lot.
-Nut Width is 1 11/16" (42.73mm)
-Weight is 3 lbs. 4.91 oz.
-Includes chipboard case.
This guitar will be packed with the utmost care and ship fully insured with a chipboard case. Please reach out if you have any additional questions, thanks for looking!
