The 1994/95 Fender Foto Flame Telecaster is a distinctive Made in Japan Fender combining classic Telecaster simplicity with one of the more unusual finishes associated with Fender Japan during the mid-1990s.

Finished in Aged Cherry Sunburst, the Foto Flame process gives the appearance of highly figured timber beneath the finish, creating a much more visually distinctive look than a standard Telecaster.

This pre-owned example weighs 7.44 lbs, is presented in Good Condition and is supplied without a case.

1990s Made in Japan Fender

Produced in Japan around 1994/95, this Telecaster comes from a particularly interesting period of Fender Japan production.

The combination of Japanese manufacture, traditional Telecaster design and the discontinued Foto Flame treatment gives it strong appeal for players and Fender Japan enthusiasts looking for something outside the current production range.

Foto Flame Aged Cherry Sunburst

The Foto Flame treatment uses a photographic representation of figured timber beneath the finish.

Combined with the Aged Cherry Sunburst colour, it gives the guitar a distinctive mid-1990s Fender Japan appearance.

Classic Telecaster Layout

The guitar features a traditional Telecaster-style control and pickup layout:

• Two vintage-style single-coil pickups

• 3-way blade selector

• Master Volume

• Master Tone

• Passive electronics

• Vintage-style Telecaster bridge

• 25.5" scale length

The result is the familiar range of bright bridge tones, warmer neck sounds and the characteristic combined middle position.
