Schecter Riot-5 Electric Bass Satin Inferno Burst B-Stock 1379

The Riot-5 delivers a comfortable, balanced feel in hand thanks to its thin "C" neck profile and 35" scale length—ideal for five-string players seeking precise intonation and articulate note separation. This B-Stock example shows minimal cosmetic wear (light marks at the 10th fret) and maintains full playability and sonic character throughout. The Inferno Burst finish combined with swamp ash and burl maple construction creates both visual impact and tonal clarity.

Playability & Construction

Built with bolt-on construction, a maple/walnut multi-ply neck, and an ebony fingerboard, this bass balances resonance with structural stability. The thin "C" contour (0.787" at the 1st fret, 0.866" at the 12th) sits naturally in hand for extended sessions, while the 24 XJ frets and 16" radius fingerboard provide smooth playability and consistent action across the entire neck.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG pickups—40PX-CS at the neck and 40JX-CS at the bridge—feed into an EMG-B30 3-band active EQ with master volume and blend control, delivering punchy lows, articulate mids, and focused highs. The 9-volt clip-in battery powers the active circuit for responsive tone shaping across multiple playing styles and studio applications.
