Here for sale we have an Ibanez Artcore Series AS93 Hollow-Body Electric Guitar in Trans Cherry Red finish. Made in China in 2017, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Flamed Maple body, 3pc Mahogany/Maple neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including an ART-1 T-o-M style bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece, as well as a set of Ibanez die-cast sealed tuning machines with pearloid buttons.  A pair of Ibanez Super '58 humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls. 

The 3pc Mahogany/Maple neck plays very well, with the AS Artcore profile feeling somewhat like a rounded 'C' shape; fairly substantial in the hand without being at all cumbersome. Certainly, the profile provides a confidence-inspiring grip for chord playing whilst remaining slim enough for fast lead lines and solos. The Ebony fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12" radius is practical for a wide range of styles and techniques. The Abalone block inlays add a sense of luxury to the playing experience while setting off the visually striking finish. 

The pair of Ibanez Super '58 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full bodied tones, well suited to a wide array of genres. The neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power for pushing your lead tones to the front of the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, and provides a searing distortion sound for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The hollow-body construction of the guitar offers a lively and responsive sound, allowing you to control your tone easily with just the power of your right hand.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Light delamination is apparent around the emblem.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. These cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching, tarnishing and fading of the gold plating is apparent to the tuners, pickup covers, bridge and tailpiece. Light concentrated scratching is apparent to the pickguard.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
