The Behringer Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496 is a 24-bit/96 kHz digital mastering processor that combines parametric EQ, graphic EQ, real-time analyzer, and dynamic processing in a single rack unit. It offers 31-band graphic EQ, 10-band parametric EQ, feedback destroyer, and stereo imager functions with AES/EBU and optical digital I/O alongside balanced analog XLR connections. The unit includes a built-in RTA mic preamp and supports MIDI control for preset changes and automation.

Operation centers around a 61-LED stereo level meter and backlit LCD display for navigating menus and viewing real-time spectrum analysis. Users can store up to 64 presets and recall them via front-panel buttons or external MIDI commands. The processor runs at 24-bit resolution with a quoted dynamic range of 113 dB and accepts both 44.1 kHz and 96 kHz sample rates.
