PRS McCarty Trem Wood Library, McCarty Sunburst, Artist Flame Maple (S/N 0433034, WL 02817)
This is a Wood Library McCarty Trem with an Artist Grade Flame Maple top in McCarty Sunburst over a mahogany back. The wood package is classic: a mahogany neck with an East Indian Rosewood fretboard and matching rosewood headstock veneer. The J-Bird inlays have Green Standard Abalone outlines and Paua centers. The hardware is hybrid, with ivory pickup rings, switch tip and tuner buttons that suit the warm sunburst colors. It also carries the Jack Gretz/Northeast Music Center & PRS Guitars 30/15 Anniversary truss rod cover.
The Pattern neck, mahogany and rosewood give it a traditional McCarty feel, and the Wood Library appointments stay in keeping with what a McCarty is supposed to be. Controls are kept simple: volume, push/pull tone and a 3-way toggle. It has a Gen III tremolo and comes with a PRS D1 molded hardshell case.
