Hello fellow gearheads and collectors!
Up for sale is a true piece of Fender history: a stunning 1982 American Vintage Reissue (AVRI) Stratocaster, crafted in the legendary Fullerton plant. This is an incredibly early production model from the post-CBS Fender renaissance, featuring a very low 3-digit serial number: V000219.I purchased this guitar through a reputable guitar shop, which had acquired it from what appeared to be its original first owner. The guitar is in perfect working order and shows beautiful, authentic playing wear and natural relic spots that give it incredible character and mojo.Technical Details & Condition:
- Neck: Original pencil date on the neck heel reads 6.27.82 (June 27, 1982).
- Electronics & Pickups: Features period-correct components and capacitors, including the highly coveted originals Red Bobbin pickups. For the sake of full transparency and accuracy, a few solder joints appear to have been touched up over the years, but the core vintage components are present.
- What’s included: The guitar comes with its period-correct Poverini ABS hard case and its original hang tags.
This Strat plays like a dream, rings like a bell, and has that unmistakable, magical Fullerton neck profile and resonance.
