The "ACS SLIM Nylon," a representative nylon-string model from the Canadian guitar brand Godin, has arrived.

This modern electro-acoustic guitar model combines the soft, warm sound unique to nylon strings with the high playability of an electric guitar.

Its most distinctive feature is its neck, which is slimmer than that of a typical classical guitar. With a nut width of 43.18mm, switching from an electric guitar or steel-string acoustic is smooth. Furthermore, the 16-inch radius fingerboard and Godin's unique neck shape allow for effortless playing, from chord work to solos.

The body features a chambered silver leaf maple construction, with a solid cedar top. The cedar's characteristic soft and responsive tone is combined with a clear attack and a moderate core tone, bringing out the rich expressiveness typical of nylon strings.

Another key feature is its high resistance to feedback thanks to its chambered construction. It's easy to use even on loud stages where regular classical guitars or acoustic-electric guitars are difficult to handle, and it delivers stable performance within a band ensemble.

The sound is well-suited to bossa nova, jazz, Latin, and pop music, possessing the roundness characteristic of nylon strings while maintaining a clear tone definition. It's also compatible with electric guitar amplifiers and effects pedals, allowing you to enjoy a sound that's distinctly different from traditional classical guitars.

Furthermore, it features a dedicated pickup system, making it suitable for live performances and recording. Some models also support 13-pin output, allowing you to further expand the possibilities of nylon-string guitars by combining them with guitar synthesizers and other devices.

The color is a calm Natural SG. With its simple look that makes the most of the natural wood grain, it has a presence that stands out even on stage.

The ACS SLIM is recommended for those who are not comfortable with the wide neck of a classical guitar, as well as for those who usually play electric guitars.

This guitar allows you to enjoy the soft sound of nylon strings more easily and freely.
This practical nylon-string guitar from Godin is perfect for a wide range of uses, from playing at home to live performances and recording.
