Description:
Out of the box, the Mercury Flanger features three flavors of deep, swirling modulation. Classic mode delivers a deep and resonant effect in the tradition of first-wave flanger pedals like the MXR Flanger and A/DA Flanger. Thru-Zero (or "Tape Flange") delivers that elusive, dramatic phase cancellation that occurs when the dry and modulated signals cross paths. Shadow mode delivers a silky, resonant jet-engine "whoosh" that keeps the low end tight while adding a lush top-end swirl.The Mercury also includes a Delay control, a crucial parameter for exploring the uncharted territory between flanger and chorus.
