The Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh is a germanium/silicon hybrid fuzz that covers clean boost, light overdrive, and saturated fuzz in one box. The hi/lo input switch sets headroom and clipping amount, while the diode selector toggles between silicon diodes, asymmetrical germanium diodes, or diodes out for more volume and headroom. A standard fuzz knob sits next to a dual tone section: one knob sweeps the full range, the other adds back highs that get cut when you boost lows, keeping the sound natural without drastic EQ shifts. This pedal runs on standard 9V center-negative power and is true bypass. It passes full-frequency signal with large coupling caps, so bass stays tight and clear even at high gain. The layout keeps your guitar and amp tone intact while adding dirt that cleans up with your guitar’s volume knob.
