Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus – Honey Burst – HSS – Fender Gig Bag

For sale is my Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus in Honey Burst.

This is one of Fender’s more unusual and versatile Telecaster designs, combining elements of a Telecaster, Stratocaster and HSS guitar in a single instrument.

The pickup configuration consists of a traditional-style Telecaster single coil at the neck, Stratocaster single coil in the middle and Modern Player humbucker at the bridge. A 5-way selector provides the different pickup combinations, while the additional mini-toggle allows the bridge humbucker to be coil split.

This gives the guitar a much wider tonal range than a traditional Telecaster, from Tele-style cleans and Strat-like single-coil sounds through to a considerably fuller bridge humbucker.

Crafted in China

The guitar is in very good to excellent used condition and has been well cared for. There are normal signs of playing and handling, including surface marks/scratches to the pickguard and normal ageing to some of the hardware. Please see the detailed photographs for the exact cosmetic condition.

The Honey Burst transparent finish really shows off the grain of the body and looks fantastic in person.

This model has long since been discontinued and is a particularly interesting Fender for anyone wanting something considerably more versatile than a conventional two-pickup Telecaster.

Supplied with the Fender gig bag shown in the photographs.
