Vintage 90s-ish Dean Markley Acoustic Soundhole Pickup - Cursive Logo
Description:
Selling a vintage Dean Markley acoustic soundhole pickup. I believe this is from the early 90s or late 80s (since it just features the classic cursive logo ink-stamped on top of the wood block instead of the "ProMag" name).
And I'm pretty sure I bought this used around 1991 from Portland Music and have owned it ever since.
Passive single-coil pickup. It has the original fixed black cable, heavy-duty, knurled metal 1/4" plug. The original flat black foam padding on the bottom is still fully intact and in great shape.
I haven't used it in awhile butI tested it with a digital multimeter and it reads a 4.4 kΩ at the jack (so the internal wiring and coil are completely healthy and functional). The cosmetic condition is very clean for its age. It looks like a small bit of one of the curlicues has faded on the top.
Let me know if you have any questions.
