From clean boosts to rich distortion, the electro-harmonix Soul Food overdrive pedal may be your amplifier's new best friend. You can easily push your favorite tube amplifier right to its breakup point, or use it for aggressive, distorted lead tones. One thing Sweetwater guitarists like is that higher drive settings boost your mids a bit too, helping your tone cut through the mix without becoming overbearing. And whether you're playing with humbuckers or single-coil pickups, the treble control lets you fine-tune just how much bite your tone has.
