Ibanez Roadstar II Deluxe RS505 Rare Finish 1983 - Brown Sunburst Tri Burst

Here’s a very rare finish on an Ibanez Roadstar RS505. I’ve been watching Roadstar listings on Reverb for years and this is the only one I’ve seen come up.

Overall I’d say this is in good condition for a 43 year old guitar. It has light surface scratches that are tough to photograph. I pointed out what I believe to be the most noticeable dings. If there’s anything wrong with it, it’s the ding on the neck by the 5th fret. I’ve included several pictures of this. I personally don’t feel it while playing, but if you’re sensitive to these things, this probably isn’t the guitar for you.

Electronics function as they should, however they could use a cleaning as there is some static when switching between positions. Pots are good. Some fretwear, but I don’t see any deep ruts in any of the frets. I’m happy to send more pics of those if there’s a concern.

Included is an original chainsaw case. All latches function and the inside is pretty clean. One ding on the tail end of it as well as a few places where the tolex is loose. Still a solid case.
