Ensoniq Mirage DSK-8 Digital Sampling Keyboard 1984 - Grey
This is my 100% working Mirage sampling keyboard.
It is in great cosmetic shape especially considering it was born in 1984.
Amazing machine really with a great 8 bit crunch.
It has the Gotek floppy drive installed with all of the various operating systems installed plus the original Ensoniq sample library plus many others.
The thing that most surprised me about it was how much I've been using these library sounds, they are a great treasure trove.
It has a DX7 quality to it but so much more versatile.
I been done some work on it since it came to me including fitting a new volume slider and cleaning up the keyboard contacts.
The only thing for future is a power supply re-cap, it has a slight flicker on the LED display which points to a slight fluctuation in voltage on one of the power rails, I would sort this if I had time. No effect on the operation.
I will mark this as Local Collection due to size, we are just off junction 50 of the A1(M) near Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
