Beautiful 2006 Martin 000-28VS from Martin’s Vintage Series. This discontinued 12-fret model features a slotted headstock, Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, and a warm, resonant sound particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing.

Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition for its age. It has a few very minor nicks and light surface scratches from normal, careful use. These are cosmetic only and do not affect the guitar’s structure, playability, or sound.

The guitar has been professionally inspected and serviced. A barely visible center-seam separation was professionally repaired and is stable. There is also slight fret sprout along the edges of the fingerboard, caused by Nevada’s extremely dry climate. My guitar technician recommended leaving the fret ends as they are because they may settle after the guitar returns to a more humid environment.

The guitar includes its original Martin hardshell case and a Humidipak system. I have also replaced the original plastic pins with ebony. These are shown in the photos.
