A beautiful vintage full-size 4/4 violin, believed to be an early 20th-century German trade instrument, likely circa 1920s–1930s.

There is no visible maker’s label, so the exact maker and year are unknown. Based on its construction, materials and workmanship, it appears consistent with the quality German workshop instruments produced during this period.

The violin features a spruce top with figured maple back and sides, traditional hand-cut/hand-finished f-holes, ebony fingerboard and classic fittings. The aged woods, finish and natural patina give this instrument plenty of vintage character.

Most importantly, this is not simply a decorative antique. It has been professionally inspected and set up by a luthier and is ready to play. Note: New chin rest included in case.
