G&L USA ASAT Classic Thinline Guitar Midnight Blue Metallic

G&L USA ASAT Classic Thinline Guitar in Midnight Blue Metallic

The ASAT Classic Thinline delivers articulate, touch-responsive single-coil tone in a semi-hollow design that balances comfort with resonance. Built to exacting USA specifications, this unplayed example combines G&L ASAT Classic Single-coil pickups with a clean signal path, making it equally at home in fingerstyle and pick-driven applications without requiring extensive tone-shaping circuitry.

Tone & Electronics

A matched pair of G&L ASAT Classic Single-coil pickups anchor the electronics, paired with a straightforward 3-position pickup selector, volume, and tone controls that preserve the pickups' natural dynamics. The simplified control layout keeps the signal path clean and transparent, allowing the semi-hollow construction to resonate fully.

Construction & Playability

USA-made alder body and Hard Rock Maple neck with satin vintage tint form the foundation, while the Modern Classic neck profile accommodates extended play without fatigue. Precise neck depth—.820" at the 1st fret and .870" at the 12th fret—ensures consistent action and intonation across the range, anchored by a traditional boxed steel bridge with individual brass saddles that delivers mechanical precision.
