G&L USA Legacy SSS Build to Order Guitar in Turquoise

The G&L USA Legacy SSS delivers articulate single-coil character balanced with refined, comfortable playability—a straightforward instrument built for players who value clear tone and responsive control. This USA-made design pairs proven Fullerton pickup architecture with modern ergonomic refinement, making it equally at home in studio sessions or live settings. The turquoise finish adds visual presence while the satin vintage tint neck resists fingerprints during extended play.

Tone and Electronics

Three Fullerton-made G&L CLF-100 Alnico 5 single-coil pickups generate clear, bell-like tones with minimal hum and excellent harmonic complexity. The middle pickup is reverse-wound for hum cancellation when combining pickups, and the 5-position selector with volume, treble, and bass controls allows precise tonal shaping. The G&L Dual Fulcrum vibrato delivers smooth pitch modulation with reliable return-to-pitch tuning stability.

Playability and Construction

The G&L Modern Classic neck profile features a 1 11/16" nut width, 9.5" radius, and .820" depth at the first fret, providing immediate familiarity while maintaining modern comfort for both rhythm and lead playing. Hard rock maple comprises both the neck and fingerboard for stability and responsiveness, while the satin vintage tint finish enhances tactile feel and resists fingerprints during extended sessions.
