G&L USA ASAT Classic Lefty Build to Order Guitar — Jet Black

The G&L USA ASAT Classic left-handed configuration delivers the punchy, articulate single-coil character that defines the ASAT lineage—a guitar engineered for clarity and cut across blues, rock, country, and funk applications. Built to order by G&L's master craftsmen, this instrument combines refined USA construction with tight tolerances and consistent hardware that stays in tune. Left-handed players gain access to the same responsive playability and balanced weight distribution that make extended sessions feel effortless.

Tone and Electronics

Dual G&L ASAT Classic single-coil Alnico pickups positioned at bridge and neck deliver responsive dynamics with clarity across the frequency spectrum—woody midrange warmth paired with clear treble definition. The boxed-steel bridge with individual brass saddles ensures solid sustain and precise intonation transfer, giving this lefty a versatile voice suited to both crisp single-note lines and chunky rhythm work.

Playability and Construction

The Modern Classic neck profile with 1 11/16" nut width and 1 5/8" string spacing provides comfortable positioning across the fretboard, while the 9.5" radius maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets supports smooth legato passages and aggressive bending. A satin finish neck reduces hand fatigue during longer sessions, and the responsive neck geometry invites quick position shifts and fluid string work.
