I am offering a Gibson J-15 Standard Walnut AN from 2019, a crafted in Bozeman, Montana (USA), all solid timber acoustic guitar featuring the legendary Slope Shoulder Dreadnought deisgn, resonant Sitka spruce top, impressively figured back and sides made of walnut, set walnut-reinforced maple neck with SlimTaper neck profile and 43.8mm TUSQ nut, elegant walnut fingerboard with shimmering mother-of-pearl dot inlays, Grover Rotomatics Mini tuners, and L.R. Baggs Element pickup system in a beautiful Antique Natural high-gloss nitrocellulose finish with abalone rosette and multi-ply cream binding in nearly mint condition, complete with brown Gibson luxury hardshell case, manufacturer’s paperwork, and professional setup with 12-53 Elixir 80/20 strings.

The Gibson J-15 carries on the legacy of the iconic Gibson Round Shoulder acoustic line. The J-15 is a slightly modified version of the J-45, but actually has nearly identical specs to its sister model: the manageable Round Shoulder body shape, a finely resonant solid “AA” grade Sitka spruce top, and a glued-in neck with a dovetail joint. The differences from the J-45 actually lie in the woods selected for the back, sides, and neck.

The J-15 features a beautifully figured walnut body (rather than mahogany), a maple neck with walnut inlays, and a matching walnut fingerboard. This gives the J-15 a slightly brighter and more dynamic tone without sacrificing the classic J-45 punch. Furthermore, the J-15 impresses with a beautiful Antique Natural finish, which harmonizes superbly with the tortoise pickguard and the abalone rosette.

The fantastic woods and high-quality craftsmanship of the Gibson Bozeman workshop produce a wonderfully warm and exceptionally powerful sound, with the midrange in particular coming through beautifully. The rounded body also ensures excellent projection and a balanced, warm tone with a subtle yet dynamic range of timbres—ideal for any kind of strumming and picking!

A sound sample of this model can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.

Additionally, the guitar comes factory-equipped with a high-quality L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, ensuring a clear and authentic acoustic sound even when played live.

Truly a great guitar that—in typical Gibson Montana fashion—combines an outstanding balance of sound, playability, and aesthetics.
