Rare Clapton Crossroads pedal with all the packaging.

Purchased by me at Guitar Center in Arlington Heights, IL, on 10/20/07.

Really fun modeling pedal with 7 settings based on Clapton recordings (see picture of back of box). But with too many guitars and some expenses to cover, I’m letting this one go.

The item is like new with two exceptions:

• Box opened
• item used at home <5 hours

Some official verbiage from the web:

“The DigiTech Crossroads Eric Clapton is a signature guitar effects pedal released around 2005 as part of DigiTech’s Artist Series, with a portion of the proceeds supporting the Crossroads Centre Antigua.

Key Features and Tones

• Seven Modes: Designed to emulate seven iconic Eric Clapton tones across his career, including "Sunshine of Your Love" (woman tone), "Badge" (rotary speaker effect), "Crossroads," and an acoustic simulation mode for "Layla" (Unplugged).
• Controls: Features a Level knob, two multi-function Control knobs (adjusting gain, tone, or effects depending on the mode), and a Model selector.
• Power: Operates on a standard 9V DC external power supply or 9v battery.

Reception and Pricing

• Reputation: The pedal has a polarizing reputation online; while some players appreciate its versatility for cover bands, it is often humorously cited in online communities like Reddit as one of the most disliked multi-model digital pedals.
• Market Value: Because it is discontinued, you can find used units widely on resale platforms like Reverb or eBay ranging from $70 to $190 depending on condition and whether the original box is included.
