Eastwood EUB-1 Fretless Bass

An exceptional fretless bass from the Korean manufacturer Eastwood. The EUB-1 (Eastwood Unfretted Bass) pays homage to the legendary horizontal Ampeg AUB-1 (or AEB-1) scroll basses from the late 1960s.

Solid mahogany body with full-length F-holes. So it’s not a semi-acoustic bass, as one might assume at first glance.

Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard (flat radius, approx. 14"), visually matching the body with an open-back headstock and Kluson tuners (retrofitted).

To enhance its performance, the bass has also been retrofitted with a fixed Gotoh bridge and a Duesenberg humbucker pickup.

34-inch (86.36 cm) long scale.

Nut width: 42.6 mm

Weight: 3.48 kg

Comes in a custom case as pictured, which shows some signs of wear.

Good condition with minimal signs of wear—see photos.
