ARP Pro Soloist Fully Refurbished

For your consideration is an ARP Pro Soloist in fully restored condition.  I am a vintage keyboard tech and carried out all the work myself.  The unit exhibited fading of its panel print throughout so at some point in the past I hired a graphic designer who reproduced the original factory graphics to perfection in vector form.  I then had those professionally pressed onto conformable vinyl laminate, applied to the chassis and hand trimmed.  The result is a refreshed panel that looks sharp and legible in any kind of lighting.

Work done on this unit includes:

- Complete disassembly down to the bare chassis
- Sliders removed from left hand board
- Chassis, keyboard chassis, keys and key channels and all boards minus power supply washed
- Key hooks leveled, keyboard bushings replaced, key contacts and busbars cleaned and adjusted
- Power supply rebuilt with new filter and replacement capacitors, fresh thermal paste applied, power cord replaced
- Tantalum and electrolytic capacitors replaced with electrolytics
- Sliders disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled, fitted with new rubber caps
- Touch sensor bar taken apart and new sensor strip installed, bar height adjusted for proper actuation
- Unit components connected and powered on the bench to ensure proper function of every board per Service Manual
- Full calibration performed per Service Manual
- Wood sides cleaned and treated with lemon oil
- Wood side attachment brackets rebuilt from aluminum strip where necessary and epoxied in place for a solid fit
- Bottom panel remade using original hard board material, hole pattern duplicated using drill press
- New panel knob, rubber feet and hardware where needed
