For sale: Audient ASP 880. I'm the only owner. I bought it from Sweetwater and it lived in a smoke free studio in a rack the entire time. The unit is in excellent condition except for a small scratch on the top (see photos). I bought it to use with a Saffire Pro 40 to bypass the preamps via ADAT and it worked beautifully. Full disclosure, these units run warm. All of these ASP units do (it's a known issue) so you HAVE to leave space above and below the unit in your rack to help with ventilation. If it heats up too much, some of the channels could throw pop and static noises. It only happened once to me but I'm pretty sure it was a word clock setting issue and not a heat issue. It never happened with the Saffire Pro 40 but I switched to an RME Fireface and it happened once through that unit on channel 8. Once I added a word clock cable along with the ADAT cable, it didn't happen again which is why I think it was a clocking issue but be aware. I just checked every input before taking photos and every channel was functioning perfectly and dead silent. There are no current issues but I believe in being completely transparent when it comes to gear. Don’t come trying to return it if you don’t ventilate it properly or don’t clock sync it correctly and experience issues in a few months. If you know what you’re doing, you should be completely fine. The preamps sound beautiful and being able to insert outboard gear via a push button is a game changer. I simply don't need it now because I have the RME and just use the insert jacks. Ships with the original box. Power cable is also in there and I’ll throw in the word clock cable just in case you need it.
