Up for your buying pleasure is a Beautiful Slingerland “Buddy Rich“ late 90s model, sporting the black n silver, large oval badge.
This snare is equipped with a heavy solid brass shell, 4x14“ Buddy Rich metal snare drum
In addition this shell has a brilliant gold color brass, with shinny chrome all original condition for a 25 year old drum.
This snare is also equipped with a genuine Slingerland, internal single muffler. It functions beautifully.
The Zoomatic Strainer functions flawlessly & can be adjusted to dial in the snare wires for sensitive, precision response.
There are noooo issues with anything, all functions properly & this drum sounds as good as it looks. This certainly is a rare find in this special 4x14 brass snare for sure! Most of these models are wood shells.
The Slingerland “Sound King“ hoops are Chrome Over Brass that adds even more projection and sensitivity playing in pianissimo to triple forte!
This snare has such a large dynamic range, capturing powerful or gentle sound and produces a bright, sharp & crisp cracking tonality.
