A vintage pair of 14" Zildjian 1st-Gen (1982-1983) Block Letter AMIR Hi-Hats. These are bright, cutting, sheet-bronze cymbals from Zildjian's classic 1980s lineup, but please note they are being sold in Player's Condition due to slight warping on edge.
Condition Details:
- Structural: There are no cracks, keyholing, or flea bites on either cymbal. The center holes are clean and round.
- Warping: There is slight warping on the cymbals (primarily noticeable on the top hat's edge), which means they do not make a perfectly flat, airtight seal when closed.
- Sound Impact: Because of the warp, they do not produce a perfectly tight, crisp foot "chick" sound. However, they still sound great played loose/open, and they have an excellent raw, trashy wash.
Perfect For:
This pair is priced to move and is absolutely perfect for collectors, someone looking for an affordable practice set, an auxiliary set of permanently open "X-hats," or individual cymbals to use as trashy components in a cymbal stack.
**Please note: The hi hat stand pictured is not included. It is just being used to show the cymbals together.
