Schecter PT Classic guitar in Transparent Black Burst

Schecter PT Classic Electric Guitar Transparent Black Burst

The PT Classic sits perfectly in your hands with a responsive, balanced neck featuring a 14-inch fretboard radius that locks in fast single-note runs and smooth chord work. The chambered mahogany body with quilted maple cap keeps weight manageable for extended sets, while the flamed maple neck provides the structural integrity and visual character that commands respect on stage. Built in the USA Custom Shop, this instrument combines meticulous craftsmanship with hardware and electronics engineered for players who refuse to compromise.

Playability & Build Quality

The 22 jumbo stainless steel frets deliver durability and smooth action without fret sprout concerns—critical for touring reliability. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.67" wide) locks in sustain and tuning stability through long sets, while the 25.5-inch scale strikes a practical balance between comfortable playability and tonal versatility. The 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access spoke wheel gives you straightforward neck adjustments when road conditions demand it.

Tone & Electronics

The Schecter USA Pasadena Plus bridge pickup paired with the Pasadena Classic neck pickup cuts through live mixes with clarity and richness across genres—from clean rhythms to aggressive leads. The push-pull tone control with coil-splitting lets you switch from full humbucker warmth to crisp single-coil voicings on the fly, while the 3-way toggle switch gives you three distinct pickup configurations for sound shaping mid-performance.
