Benson Redland Reverb 15w 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp in Pepper w/Wheat Grill

The Benson Redland 15 expands Benson’s signature touch sensitivity and harmonic response into a distinctly American voiced amplifier with an exceptionally broad tonal range. Designed and handmade in Portland, Oregon, the Redland pairs a 15 watt 6V6 power section with Benson’s unique Redland EQ, tube driven spring reverb and continuously variable power scaling.

At the heart of the Redland is its unconventional Bass and Treble circuit. Rather than a traditional three band tone stack, the Bass control moves a broad scoop through the frequency spectrum while the Treble control uses a steep 12dB per octave roll off. Together they allow the amp to move from crystalline, spacious cleans to thick, mid forward tones with remarkable control over the overall character and feel. A small amount of global negative feedback adds fullness and gives the Redland a slightly more relaxed response under the fingers.

The Redland 15 uses a pair of 6V6 power tubes and can be continuously scaled from 15 watts down to approximately half a watt, making it equally at home on stage, in the studio or at lower volume. The 1x12 combo is loaded with Benson’s custom ceramic speaker, developed with Weber and voiced with a British inspired character, smooth compression and a balanced response when pushed.

This example is finished in Benson’s premium Pepper Tolex with Wheat Grill cloth, giving the Redland an understated vintage appearance that complements its dovetailed pine cabinet.
