[Instrument Condition and Repair History]

This guitar is in a distinctive "player’s condition," having been extensively played on stage and in professional settings for many years. There are golpes and dings throughout, but after more than 35 years, the wood has dried, producing a mature resonance unattainable in new instruments. This guitar also has a repair history. To ensure it can be used with peace of mind for years to come, the previous owner entrusted a guitar workshop with its repairs and maintenance. Although the instrument’s aesthetics are affected, the sound quality and playability remain intact.

• Top crack: Repaired by applying a spruce patch (cleat) from the underside.
• Back crack: As the split had not opened, it was stabilized by running adhesive into the crack.
• Sound hole chip: Carefully restored with either a spruce base or filler for an unobtrusive finish.
• Bridge: Since there was slight lifting, it was strongly re-adhered with injected glue.
• Neck: Straight.
• String height: At the 12th fret, 6th string side: approx. 3.5mm / 1st string side: approx. 3.0mm
