Up for sale is a 1981 USA Made Fender Modded Lead III Black w/ Tweed Case in Good Condition! This one has been well played over the years. Many dings, dents & scratches adorn the body. The pickups have been swapped with what looks like Carvin humbuckers with 11 pole pieces. One of the switches was removed & plugged. The original hard tail bridge has been replaced with a Kahler tremolo system. The holes for the string through body are missing the grommets that would've been there with the hard tail. The high E tuning button differs from the other buttons, although the rest of the tuning machine looks to be matching. The trem bar is not included. This guitar was turned into a crunch machine, as it handles high gain & distortion excellently. Comes with a newer Fender tweed case. This will ship tightly packed & fully insured. Thanks for looking!
